Photoluminescence / Raman

Measures Raman scattering and luminescent emission spectra upon photoexcitation (fluorescence and phosphorescence). Our custom-built experimental setup has discrete excitation wavelengths available in the range from 266 nm to 1050 nm. It can accommodate samples in powder, solid, and liquid format for room temperature measurements. For solid samples, it allows for measurements from 4.2 K to 300 K using a liquid He bath cryostat.

Complementary instruments at MRL for microscopic Raman measurements at room temperature are the Nanophoton Raman 11 confocal Raman microscope, the Horiba XploRA-nano TERS-TEPL, and the Molecular Vista PiFM-Raman.
