Quesant Q-350 AFM

The Ambios/Quesant Q-350 QScope Atomic Force Microscope is a versatile scanning probe system with the capacity for large samples. The typical scan range of this tip-scanning AFM is up to 60 µm × 60 µm with a maximum vertical range of approximately 5 µm. Its large motorized sample stage can accommodate samples up to 5.5" × 5.5" x 1.5" in size.

At MRL, this instrument primarily operates in contact mode, offering a cost-effective solution for AFM-tip-based sample cleaning across a wide range of materials. For efficiency of tip-based cleaning sessions, probes are pre-mounted by staff to speed up instrument setup.
